Satisfy Your Quilting Hunger with Exclusive Cornucopia Block

OMAHA, Neb. – October 5, 2021 – AccuQuilt, an organization that manufactures fabric cutting machines and dies, announced the release of their new GO! Die to Try Cornucopia Die. This Block on Board® Die offers a time-saving solution to cutting this quilt block by hand. This exciting new die is now available to order online at AccuQuilt, but only while supplies last.

AccuQuilt’s exclusive Die to TryDies are launched the first Tuesday of each month and feature dies developed to make time-consuming quilting blocks easier to tackle. This Block on Board® Die is specially designed to cut one 5-color, 10” finished block in one pass through all AccuQuilt fabric cutters. It will create nine different shapes that are traditionally hard to cut by hand – making it much more accessible to quilters.

“We’re really excited to release the GO! Cornucopia Die,” said Lynn Gibney, Chief Brand and Product Officer. “We have created five free patterns that our community can use to decorate their space each fall. I’m eager for everyone to see the throw quilt and table topper patterns that they can download. This die really will satisfy every quilter’s hunger for piecing this fall.”

The GO! Cornucopia Die to Try Block on Board® Die will:

  • Safely, quickly, and accurately cut up to six layers of fabric.
  • Provide quarter-inch seam allowances and screen-printed letters for easy piecing.
  • Cut specialized dog-eared corners for easy alignment and reduced bulk in the seams.
  • Include step-by-step block assembly directions to get quilters started.

The Die to Try program was created to help the quilting community in their creative journey. So, makers can vote on their favorite Die to Try dies on the company website. AccuQuilt users are also encouraged to reach out to the company to provide feedback about their all-time favorite dies and provide suggestions for dies they would like to see in the future.

“We really want to hear back from our community,” said Gibney. “If there’s a way that we can make it easier for makers to create their fabric projects, then we want to help. Helping to bring joy to the craft is our central goal. We greatly appreciate all the feedback we receive.”
